PASTEURISED MULCH

Worm Tech Pasteur Mulch is comprised of mainly garden organics and cottontrash organic material. The Mulch has been pasteurised through aerobic and thermophillic processes to kill any weed seed and potential pathogens.

Pasteur Mulch keeps soil temperatures low in the summer and warm in the winter. In summer bare soil can reach over 50C, killing or displacing many biological forms in the top 50-75mm. Mulch covers have proven to reduce soil temperatures by 50%, keeping soils in the ideal temperature zone of 20-24C. On the contrary, keeping soil temps warm in the winter is just as important as keeping soil temps cool in the summer.
This ensures soil micro-organisms work at their most efficient and keep crop roots happy.
Pasteur Mulch is designed to last up to 2 or 3 seasons. This durability is achieved by only partly composting to maintain the integrity of the organic material. The mulch, while already sterile, with its added durability also helps to keep weeds from germinating underneath applied areas as well.

Warning
This product is made from natural materials and contains micro-organisms. Wear gloves and wash hands after use, avoid ingesting and contact with eyes. Wash out immediately with clean water if contact occurs and see your doctor.
This product is living and is best stored in a cool dark position, preferably with the lid loose or off. For best results apply within 6 weeks of manufacture.
