Our History
Worm Tech established with six above ground worm pits. This started the Yenda Worm Farm.
Expanded to fourteen above ground worm pits at the Yenda Worm Farm, and started making liquid worm juice for our own vineyard and vegetable production.
Obtained NSW EPA licence for organics resource recovery. This was the beginning of the Carrathool Composting Facility.
Grant awarded to invest in composting equipment, from the NSW Environmental Trust.
Started processing Food & Garden Organics (FOGO) for various Councils and Waste Collection Companies
Pulled out orchard and vineyard to expand the Yenda Worm Farm to 16 x 300m windrows. Invested heavily in sales and operational personnel.
Approved for Organic Allowable Input accreditation from SXC. Launched Verasoil organic worm castings in over 220 Bunnings Warehouse stores across Australia.
Produced and distributed back into agricultural soils over 30,000t of Premium Compost.
Plans underway to increase Carrathool Composting Facility licence to 99,000t per annum.
Winner of the Excellence in Small Business and Local Business of the Year Awards at the Griffith Business Chamber Awards.
